Boston Bombers wining 8-1 in week 11 now brings the club to 59-38-2 on the season, good enough for 1st and 1.5 game ahead of lil bro, who now sits in second.

Looking at team stats, we observe Bombers owns four categories throughout the season: 3PTM, PTS, FT%, and Blocks. Bombers has a very balanced attack across the five remaining categories.

Lets take a brief trip in time to see how the Bombers assembled their team:

  • Kevin Durant (ranked 1) was added via 2019 free agency for the achilles rupture discount of $58, in the 2022 season sets at $76.
  • Tyrese Haliburton (ranked 4) was the 5th lottery pick selected in the 2020 Rookie draft, current at $19
  • Myles Turner (ranked 21) was acquired in the 2021 free agency for $67, and value is unchanged.
  • Zach LaVine (ranked 54) was brought in 2016 free agency for the bargin price of $6, value today is $35.
  • Devin Vassell (ranked 77) was drafted by Kranston Killers in 2020 but not given time to grow and Bombers claimed him for $4 on October 22, 2021 for $4 and currently at $10.
  • Jonas Valanciunas (ranked 79) was added via 2022 free agency for $61

Forget top 100 players, I count 6 top 80 players, clicking and firing on all cylinders.

Through 11 weeks, Bombers have won 7 of 11 head-to-head matchups. Three of those four loses (True Grit Solid State, Speedsters), Bombers only managed to pull away 3 categories, while in their remaining loss to the Busters, walked away with a respectable 4 categories. So far this season, Bombers has played against every team currently in playoff positions with the exception of Gotham Great Danes, has defeated 4 of those teams (Phoeinks, 17ers, Killers, Solid State) while losing to both Rucker Park Busters and Amherst Speedsters. Adding a win against Gotham Great Danes in Week 13 and then you have a respectable resume. Gotham Danes is the hottest team in the association and perennial regular season winner, and Bombers is quite the opposite
