Let’s dive into the first overall draft pick! No surprise, as the horse rider, 2-time MVP, and now NBA Champion, Jokic was selected. And we were of the races with the inaugural draft

Although for Himmy Butlers it was nap time… as his next pick was not until 3.17. Himmy’s war room was extremely tensed, understanding there was no room for mistake, because lacking a second round and fifth round pick —

Himmy Butlers chose to invest heavily into both shooting efficiency (fg%V and ft%V), Steals (Jimmy is one of the best to ever do it in that department for a long time), Assists, decent rebounder, and low turnover player. However he is no jokic, Categories falling behind in is Points, 3s and Blocks. Although blocks is mostly being held hostage by a handful of teams. Having a guy or two that can block and some complimentary pieces that can get a block every other game might be enough against most bums.

A choice was finally made — a sound choice from a roster construction and age/potential prospective

DeAndre Ayton was added, an ideal pairing to Jokic and Butler, increasing FG%V and Rebound average, maintaining the FT% flat, but decreasing or negatively impacting both steals and assists. Maybe just maybe, that special package comes in and Ayton can once again block shots at a respectable rate for a Center.

Who would Killanomics draft here?

Killanomics would risk it all and draft Leonard, because hes so good at basketball, the games played a concern, the injuries a concern ? But the board man would get paid by me.

Final thoughts on some of the remaining picks selected by Butlers:

• Draymond Green (soooooo meh but scanning through the names selected after Eason-No, Middleton-No, Gafford-No, Keldon-No, Tre-No, and every other player available is a No given this teams objective so A+ pick)
• Ben Simmons (if you read my review he was #1 in my queue, and was snipped, think he has a bounce back year and averages 10 points 8 assists 8 rebounds 1.2 steals 0.7 blocks ! ) (A+)
• Tyus Jones (Himmy Butlers continued to empty the clip on Sub 0 J) expanded role on the wizards, best assists to turnovers ratio for a long time, main risk is what does he look like in an expanded role in the nation’s capital, because Monte Morris was not it last year, was doing the same stuff he did in a limited role over larger minutes, showing the main challenge in Scaleability. A-
• Kyle Anderson- (Bias, name sake, and absolutely needed in Minny). A
• All the other guys selected to fill the roster add strength to Steals, Rebounds while not rocking the boat too much in the percentage categories. (B-ish)

Himmy Butlers is the overwhelming favorite not factoring games played, or scenarios like Jokic choosing riding horses over basketball, Jimmy rest/injury maintenance poor timing, DA continuing to be unhappy in PHX, Draymond bullying another teammate, just to name a few. If none of those play out, Himmy is an elite performer compared to rival teams in REB, AST, STL, FG%V, TO while being near League AVG in FT%V and Blocks, helping to minimize any risk if playing a team competing in similar dominant categories
